The Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, by reservation only. Reservations must be made at least 12 hours in advance. Please DO NOT arrive more than 5 minutes prior to your reserved time slot.

We are closed Saturday, Sunday, U.S. holidays, and very rarely for private events. We strive to list all office closures below but as you know sometimes things happen.

VISITING OPTIONS

Joining us in the Visitor Center and completing the HQ GeoTour are totally free! As a working office, we do not give tours of our office spaces. We recommend reading our basic Things To Know page before coming to HQ. It'll give you information about our location, parking, and what to expect.

SELF-GUIDED VISITS & GIFT SHOP

MONDAY - FRIDAY, 10:00 am - 12:00 Pm and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm (by Reservation only)

Reservations are required. Reservations must be made at least 12 hours in advance. Please book a time slot in the “Book Your Visit” section below. Please note: we typically only book 1-2 months out. If you plan to visit on a date not yet available, please check back. The time slot you book is your time in the Visitor Center - it is NOT an entry window.

Visits to the HQ Visitor Center include the following:

  • Find the HQ cache and sign the logbook

  • Complete the Visitor Center Tour Adventure Lab®

  • Meet a Lackey (HQ staff member) and ask questions you may have

  • Capture the moment in our photo booth

  • Explore the HQ Museum and discover over 250 rare and unique trackable items

  • Add the HQ icon and souvenir to your account

  • Shop for exclusive HQ merchandise and geocaching supplies

  • Learn about the HQ GeoTour and passport
