WHEN CAN I COME AND VISIT HQ?
The HQ Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday 9:30 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm, by reservation only. Check out the Schedule a Visit page for all the details about HQ visits. Reservations must be made at least 12 hours in advance. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Can I log the hq cache without a reservation?
The HQ cache logbook is available outside the Visitor Center doors, Monday through Friday, any time 8 am to 5 pm. You do not need to book an appointment to sign the logbook and log the HQ cache, but you must book an appointment to enter the Visitor Center.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Visiting us at the HQ Visitor Center and completing the HQ GeoTour are totally free!
CAN I TOUR YOUR OFFICES, BEYOND THE VISITOR CENTER?
No, as a working office, guests do not get access beyond the HQ Visitor Center.
Why can’t I make reservations beyond next month?
At the beginning of every month, we open up bookings for the month following. For example, appointment time slots for March are made available in the first week of February.

CAN KIDS JOIN OUR VISIT?
Absolutely! Geocachers and muggles of all ages are welcome here at the HQ Visitor Center!
CAN DOGS JOIN?
Although we love our four-legged friends, only service animals are allowed inside the building. Visits are meant for the (human) geocaching community, so out of respect for those with allergies or fears, we kindly ask you to leave your geo-pups and other pets at home.
What is a Geocaching Lackey?
A "Geocaching Lackey" is a term sometimes used to refer to the employees and founders of Geocaching.com. We accept the term Lackey with pride since we are beholden to the community for our success.
Are there any exclusive items you ONLY sell at hQ?
Yes! The HQ Gift Shop in the Visitor Center sells a variety of HQ exclusive items including geocoins, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and more.
